Safran Aircraft Engines signed a 3-year Material Repair Agreement with Unison Industries in support of the maintenance of CFM56 engines*. The agreement extends through 2019 and covers ignition and power generation components in support of Safran Aircraft Engines MRO locations in France, Belgium, Morocco and Mexico.

“We are very pleased to have Safran Aircraft Engines as a key customer supporting the global CFM56* fleet,” Unison President Giovanni Spitale said. “This agreement solidifies Unison’s key relationship with a world leader in engine manufacture and service. Unison is now primed to provide unparalleled support to Safran Aircraft Engines for current and growth platforms.”

Safran Aircraft Engines will leverage Unison’s strengths in the areas of exchange programs, upgrades and repairs with mutual goals of the highest quality support in performing CFM56* Engine Overhauls by the company. Unison’s parts and services are designed to reduce maintenance costs, lower cost of ownership and provide the highest possible fleet reliability. External engine parts manufactured, supported and repaired by Unison Industries include the ignition system, power and control harnesses, sensors and fluid conveyance systems for air, oil, fuel and hydraulics.
