Marana Aerospace Solutions (http://www.maranaaerospace.com) today announced that Matt Eaton has joined the company as vice president of sales.
Eaton, who has spent the last 16 years exclusively in the MRO airframe side of commercial aviation, will be responsible for leading the continued growth of sales and services at Marana. In his role, Eaton will leverage Marana’s growing customer base, its diversified service offerings and unique asset with his proven track record of customer development and growth as he has throughout his career.
Prior to joining Marana Aerospace Solutions, Eaton served as vice president of sales and marketing for AARCorporation, where he was in charge of managing multiple customers and sites throughout North America. Prior to AAR, Eaton spent 10 years as vice president of corporate development for Flightstar, where he directly assisted in achieving the company’s growth. During his time at Flightstar, Eaton served a pivotal role in securing a long term contract for one of the leading cargo carriers in North America. Prior to Flightstar, Eaton grew his career directly through the commercial aviation industry.
“This key addition brings to Marana a 40-year aviation veteran with proven capability to directly assist our growing platform,” said Jim Martin, Marana’s president and CEO. “With Matt, we are leveraging his distinguished career which includes significant sales expertise and knowledge throughout the aviation industry.”

He not only has tremendous respect throughout the aviation world, but he is a strategic thinker. This facet of his skill set is a key attribute for our talented management and ownership teams,” said Martin.
