Royal Brunei Airlines has formally announced the appointment of Christina Vidos as UK country manager, joining as the airline celebrates its 25th year of flying from the destination.
Vidos joins RB with a wealth of experience in the airline industry spanning over 30 years.
As well as continuing to grow RB’s share of the UK’s long-haul market, she will particularly be focusing on boosting RB’s offering for SMEs.
Based at RB’s newly refurbished offices on Cromwell Road, London, Vidos will report to Christina Chua, head of sales, based in Brunei.
She joins from Garuda Indonesia, where she was sales and marketing manager for the UK & Ireland, responsible for forging stronger relationships with the travel trade and managing the UK office’s external agencies.
Prior to Garuda, Vidos worked for Carlson Wagonlit, where she was global supplier business development manager, for Gulf Air as commercial manager and for Qatar Airways as corporate sales manager, UK & Ireland.
Vidos commented: “As we progress with our rebrand, helping to steer RB on its newly established course is a very exciting prospect.
“With a fantastic team and some state-of-the-art new aircraft, we’re in a strong position to continue to deliver the warm, traditional Bruneian service our passengers have come to know and love, whilst offering better value and comfort than ever before.”
RB operates daily flights from London Heathrow and is the only airline able to guarantee all long-haul passengers a flight on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
