The FAI (Federation Aeronautique Internationale - International Air Sports Federation) Elite Aerobatic Formula is a special air acrobatic or aerobatic competition, in which the best professional pilots take part. It was developed so that the best pilots would have an opportunity to demonstrate their proficiency, not just to sports enthusiasts, but to the broader public as well, plus to demonstrate the technical progress in aeroplane manufacturing.
