“Creating Symmetry,” a series that showcases the making of the Gulfstream Symmetry Flight DeckTM — the industry’s most technologically advanced flight deck, currently in service on the clean-sheet Gulfstream G500.

The Symmetry Flight Deck features electronically linked active control sidesticks, the most extensive use of touch-screen technology in the industry, and Gulfstream’s third-generation Enhanced Flight Vision System. For the advanced technology introduced on its flight deck, the G500 received Aviation Week’s 2017 Technology Laureate Award, a 2019 Editor’s Choice Award from Flying magazine and Business Intelligence Group’s 2019 Innovation Award.
