Air Serbia New York flight launch attracts major attention at Belgrade Tourism Fair

Air Serbia continues to experience significant interest in its forthcoming service to New York with the launch of ticket sales at the International Tourism Fair in Belgrade, exceeding the airline’s expectations.

Travellers can book return fares from Belgrade to New York for just EUR 399 in Economy Class and EUR 2,499 in Business Class, including taxes and charges, as part of a promotional introductory offer that runs until 24 February. In addition to being able to book special promotions, visitors also had the opportunity to take fun photographs with Air Serbia cabin crew behind a cut-out Instagram frame and were presented with a fortune cookie predicting their next holiday destination with Air Serbia.

Dane Kondić, Chief Executive Officer of Air Serbia, said: “The International Tourism Fair was once again a very successful event, providing a great platform to present our highly-regarded and Serbian- inspired travel offering.

“The response from industry professionals and the travelling public to our stand was overwhelmingly positive and the number of tickets we sold to and from New York over the four day period surpassed our expectations by more than 30 per cent.

“It was a great start to our sales campaign and a clear sign of the high travel demand from Serbia for non-stop services to the United States.”

The new flights will offer travellers the first non-stop transatlantic services between Serbia and the United States in 24 years, providing the easiest and fastest air connection for the various Balkan diasporas in the United States to travel home and vice-versa.
