- Be patient
- Carefully open the overhead bins
- Before pulling your suitcase out of the overhead bin, look around you, is someone under you? Do not pull the suitcase towards your head, but to the side
- Don’t flash your expensive electronics or cash while walking through the airport and while getting into your transportation.
- Situational awareness – is it raining at your destination? Snowing? Watch your step leaving the airplane (could be slippery, wet, icy)
- As you leave the airport, do not talk to strangers who approach you for rides, take only authorized providers. Take a photo of the license plate before getting in the transportation. Take a photo of the driver. Send photos to a friend.
