What will be Europe’s next major business aviation event?

It is an art to elevate an event above the common category of aviation events. The winning strategy will be Europe’s Business Aviation Transformation Summit. Europe’s Davos for Business Aviation, a summit that sets the altitude for the years ahead.

Rebrand the event category. Stop using the C for convention and the E for exhibition. Replace them with the S for summit. A summit is the highest point of achievement or a high‑level meeting between leaders.

Baptize the event to EBAS, the decision‑making summit where the industry is shaped. Position it as the new flagship leadership event for the European business aviation industry. No flash, no spectacle, just power, intelligence and confidence. Promote it like a movement, a status symbol, and a category‑defining idea.

EBAS should not be run by a lobbying institution without evidence of notable achievements or benefits for its members throughout Europe's business aviation ecosystem. EBAS should not operate like a circus; it must be managed strictly as a professional business.

From a business perspective, EBAS basic purpose centers on economical worth and meeting market needs of the participants in the event. It must be a value-creation engine that satisfies needs better than alternatives. That is the foundation of competitive advantage. Let OEMs become partners instead of tenants.  EBAS shall be a venture that introduces and presents equipment, technology, services, solutions and new ideas in a beneficial manner.

When the future of business aviation is decided, it shall be decided at EBAS. The summit where leaders meet before the world catches up. Where power meets purpose. At EBAS, every meeting is a C‑suite meeting. In other words: “You will hear the conversations that determine fleet plans, infrastructure investments, and the technologies that will define the next decade of business aviation. You will meet the leaders who are consolidating the industry, financing the future, and rewriting the rules of global mobility. If you belong in these conversations, you belong at EBAS. If you weren’t at EBAS, you weren’t in the room.”

The following seven lines speak to product leadership, strategic positioning, and high‑value engagement

These are expressed in pure professional business cadence: declarative, intelligent, prestige‑driven, and rooted in truth. These are not headlines but rather mission statements. They are weapons of trademark confidence, intelligence, and status‑driven simplicity.

At EBAS, you don’t chase opportunity. You meet it.

The summit where OEMs don’t compete for attention — they command it.

The future of the order book begins with a handshake at EBAS.

The summit where operators meet the partners who shape their next decade.

The summit where the balance sheets matter as much as the aircraft

The summit where infrastructure, innovation, and investment converge.

The summit where the future of business aviation is decided and shaped by the people who will build it.

Mind that people don’t buy products, they buy benefits. A benefit is the outcome of delivering value effectively. One cannot bore people into buying. One can only interest and excite them into buying. A new event architecture should be created around deal‑making environments as an alternative for costly and palatial booths. The smart participants don’t want booths — they want deals. So, also some rethinking is needed to come up with a new innovative deal-making concept. Summa Summorum, a lot of rethinking needs to be done, and it needs to be done now in order to be prepared for an announcement well before November when conference and exhibition budgets are finalized for 2027.

EBAS will be a media magnet when it delivers outcomes, not just conversations. Information is persuasion. EBAS must teach, not hype.

Last but not least, some soul advice to whom it may concern: “Get your back off the wall if you want to dance and get down on it!”

(To be continued. Next is EBAS’ future location)
