4th East China General Aviation Development Forum 2019 Successfully Held in Shanghai

The 4th East China General Aviation Development Forum 2019 held successfully in Shanghai. This Forum Advertised by CAAC East China Regional Administration, Hosted by CAAC East China General Aviation Service Center (LONGHUA AIRPORT GROUP COMPANY), Supported by Chinese Society of Aeronautics & Astronautics, Organized by China Helicopter Design and Research Institute, AECC Hunan Aviation Powerplant Research Institute, AVIC Shanghai Aviation Electronic Co., Ltd., AVIC ATM SYSTEM & EQUIPMENT CORPORATION LIMITED. Co-organized by Galleon Shanghai Consulting Co.,Ltd. More than 200 peoples including the leaders of the CAAC and CAAC East China Regional Administration, as well as representatives of general aviation enterprises, airports participated in the meeting.

In the past two years, the State Council, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Transport, CAAC and other departments have issued policy documents related to general aviation, vigorously supporting the development of general aviation. By the end of May 2019, there were 106 general aviation enterprises, and 1,854 UAV enterprises operating. In 2018, the number of general aviation activities increased by 23, adding 118 aircraft to the list. The total flight hours of general aviation enterprises in the region totaled 128,900 hours and 314,400 flights, The growth rate of major indicators of industry development is above 20%.

In his speech, Jiang Huaiyu, Director General of CAAC East China Regional Administration, pointed out that east China is constantly refining the introduction of measures to promote the development of general aviation, to create a good operating environment for general aviation with practical actions.

At the meeting, Lian Xiuqin, Deputy Director General of Civil Aviation Administration of China, delivered the opening speech. The leaders of the CAAC have made policy interpretations on the legal system and Airworthiness Management in the development of general aviation. General aviation enterprises and research institutes share views on the development of general aviation industry, supply-side reform and company operation experience.

Through this Forum, the development idea was further explored, the goal and direction of general aviation in east China was determined, the better and faster development of general aviation was promoted and serve economic social.
