The 2nd International Symposium on Air Traffic Management for Civil Aviation was successfully held in Beijing from September 15th - 16th. The forum was hosted by Technical Committee of Avionics and Air Traffic Management, CSAA; Co-organized by Civil Aviation University of China, CAAC Key Laboratory of General Aviation Operation; Organized by CETC LES Information System Co., Ltd., State Key Laboratory of Air Traffic Management System and Technology, Beihang University, China Mobile Communications Corporation, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., and Galleon (Shanghai) Consulting Co., Ltd..

In recent years, digital technology has penetrated into various industrial chains, and the application in the aviation field is worthy of further discussion. Mr. Chen Zhijie, Director and Researcher of National Airspace Technology Key Laboratory and Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, pointed out that digital technology will be helpful in reshaping the future national airspace system and establishing a new air traffic management mode, which will help to achieve the management of airspace and high-quality allocation of resources.

The two-day forum was held successfully.
