This past weekend, LATAM Airlines Brazil, part of LATAM Airlines Group, launched Airbus A350 XWB service between Orlando (MCO) and Sao Paulo (GRU). LATAM Airlines Brazil was the first airline to receive and operate the Airbus A350 XWB aircraft in the Americas. Moving forward through the end of the year, the route will be operated by the airline’s Airbus A350 XWB, Boeing 777-300 and Boeing 767-300 fleet.
“At LATAM Airlines Group, our goal is to provide our passengers with the best possible travel experience. Being able to offer service on comfortable, modern and efficient aircraft like the new A350 XWB, in addition to the other modern aircraft in our fleet, ensures that we are offering a competitive option to travelers flying from Orlando to Brazil,” said Pablo Chiozza, Senior Vice President, USA, Canada and Caribbean for LATAM Airlines Group.
LATAM Airlines Brazil A350 Passenger Experience
The LATAM Airlines Brazil A350 XWB features 348 seats, 318 in Economy Class and 30 in Premium Business Class offering 180 degree full flat seat beds. The aircraft features the new look and feel for wide body (international flights) cabins for LATAM Airlines, the new brand uniting TAM and its fellow LATAM Airlines Group carrier LAN earlier this year. With a focus on a comfortable and welcoming experience, the design was inspired by South America’s colors and textures, combining elegant natural tones that reflect the passionate culture and warmth of the region.
The A350 XWB offers passengers an even more relaxing flight experience, while reducing the sensation of fatigue, even after long journeys. The air inside the cabin is fully renewed every two or three minutes and kept at an ideal temperature. Innovative lighting concepts help reduce jet lag, notably through the overall sensation of quality and space of the cabin. Passengers will enjoy a better field of view with panoramic windows and roomier overhead compartments to store their carry-on luggage. The Airbus A350 XWB also produces up to 25% less greenhouse gas emissions compared to other aircraft used in long-haul operations.
LATAM Airlines Brazil is the fourth airline in the world to receive and operate the Airbus A350 XWB.
