More than 207,000 passengers passed through Tallinn Airport in September 2015, 6% more than September last year, the company announced BC.

In total 1.68 million passengers have used the airport in the current calendar year, by 9% or 137,000 more than last year.

The amount of passengers on scheduled flights grew by 7%, that indicates healthy demand also after active holiday season. The average load factor was 70% (68% in 2014). The main reasons for growth are the same as in previous months – increased competition between the airlines resulting in added capacity and lower ticket prices.

The biggest increase in the number of passengers was on routes to Paris and Istanbul. The most popular scheduled flights were traditionally to Frankfurt, Riga and Helsinki, followed by Oslo and London, used by almost 50% of all passengers.
