ExecuJet MRO Services Middle East completed a full cabin interior refurbishment and exterior livery repaint on an Embraer Legacy 650, marking a notable milestone for the region’s business aviation capabilities. The project underscores how Dubai’s aerospace ecosystem has matured: operators can now access complete cabin refurbishment and aircraft painting locally, eliminating the need to outsource these services to overseas MRO providers. This achievement reflects the growing depth, quality, and competitiveness of Dubai‑based maintenance expertise.
The cabin refurbishment involved a meticulous revarnish of the aircraft’s cabinetry, installation of new carpeting, and the re‑covering of the dado panels, overhead panel, sidewalls, and ceiling. Every metallic detail was replated to complement the new interior palette. The cabin seats were reimagined with a modern design language and reupholstered using new foam and premium leather. Completed in coordination with Embraer and the seat manufacturer, the project ensures full compliance with 16G safety standards. The final cabin showcases a sophisticated, contemporary environment, distinguished by exceptional craftsmanship and a harmonious interplay of textures and colours that echo the aircraft’s refreshed exterior.
Nick Weber, Regional Vice President Middle East, ExecuJet MRO Services commented: “Our ability to offer heavy base maintenance, aircraft painting along with cabin refurbishment at one airport location reinforces our position as a growing hub for aircraft MRO services. We are seeing increasing demand in the region for cabin upgrades, and have been steadily increasing our in-house capabilities to enable us to offer a comprehensive suite of MRO and aircraft refurbishment services, reducing aircraft downtime and improving customer satisfaction. We have been supporting Embraer business jets for many years and have a long and trusted relationship with the aircraft manufacturer.”
ExecuJet MRO Services Middle East operates a purpose-built 15,344m2 air-conditioned facility that provides full-suite MRO capabilities for a wide range of aircraft types, including those from: Dassault Aviation, Bombardier, Embraer and Hawker.
