Right after NBAA we had a great chance to talk to Stefano Costi, the Managing Director of Jet Scout, new innovative web booking platform. It is always better to get direct answers to direct questions to know each other better.
Q.: Stefano! Your opinion regarding NBAA 2016, how was it this year ?
A.: Like every year I felt a sort of optimism. However, the future will show if it was justified. I rather expect a status quo. The American market is as usual the first to recover from any economic setback.
Q.: Is the bizav industry changing ? Main tendences ?
A.: Yes, to a certain extent. If you are pointing specifically to IT I would say no. I never heard the word Industry 4.0 and I afraid that market leaders are having a hard time to come up with real new ideas to support the business aviation community. I cannot hide a certain deception and furthermore plenty of companies are trying to penetrate the software market without a clear idea and scope. Everybody seems to invent their own ‘tool’; whatever it might be. This way we are creating an even more fragmented environment harming the business. But it’s a free market.
Q.: You were there in fact with a prelaunch of your innovative product – Jet Scout. Tell us a bit more about it.
A.:Jet Scout is at the first glance another charter search and booking platform. Jet Scout is a compendium if you want have an ALL-IN-ONE solution.We called the development project CHAIN Charter Inquiry Network. Very soon we can disclose the secret behind.
Q.:Simple question – what makes JetScout so different ?
A.:Well, Jet Scout is the only market place not excluding any community of interest. On the contrary. We are unifying all parties on a global scale.
Q.: Main advantages yousee using Jet Scout as an independent professional expert ?
A.:As you say – we are independent and we are listening to any Operator, Broker or Business Jet Traveler. We are a software company with business aviation background.
Q.: What are next steps of development we should be waiting for from Jet Scout ?
A.: Honestly the steps are already done, but we did not tell. We spent a lot of time and effort to close development gaps and to improve our existing products. More to come in January 2017!
