Total AOC’s team of experts has helped jet management and charter business Jet Exchange to secure a new AOC for its fleet, which now includes a Challenger 604.

Total AOC managed all aspects of the application, from drafting the manuals to providing interview preparation, ensuring Jet Exchange satisfied all the requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority to run charter operations on the mid-range heavy jet.

Ian Austin, Managing Director, Jet Exchange, says: “We have been running a managed fleet for eight years, and it’s a huge milestone for us to get an AOC. This is a new chapter in the company’s future. The support from Total AOC was invaluable.”

Thanks to the success of the approval process managed by Total AOC – which Austin describes as ‘very smooth’ – Jet Exchange has now taken on the Biggin Hill-based company’s all-encompassing management system Centrik, which handles a variety of disciplines including safety, risk, training and document control.

Austin says: “With all the systems that operators are required to comply with, I can’t imagine how you would be able to run an AOC without Centrik. We are extremely happy with it. It’s a super tool for both the crew and the management to have complete oversight and tracking of what is going on.”

Total AOC has also provided two postholders for Jet Exchange, handling safety and compliance.

Jet Exchange will now be pursuing an aggressive growth strategy and will be looking to acquire further aircraft for the fleet in the near future.
