J&C Aero, an international aviation center for innovation in cabin transformation and CAMO, has received a 2.2 mln euro loan for the construction of its new aircraft cabin interior production line in Vilnius. The loan was provided by Swedbank.
The new 3500 sq. m. facility will house state-of-the-art production lines of some of the most demanded aircraft cabin elements like windscreens and class dividers, as well as a set of J&C Aero’s unique products, including universal EFB holders for pilots and gadget holders for passengers. The new facility will also have multiple repair and refurbishment shops, a testing laboratory, as well as sewing, warehousing, livery printing, and administrative areas. The new facilities are planned to be constructed in 2023.
According to J&C Aero’s CEO Laurynas Skukauskas, the new building will allow the company to expand its production rates, introduce new products, as well as expand its cooperation with the industry’s major players.
“After two years of challenges and uncertainty, global aviation is rapidly recovering. We used the pandemic period to analyze the market needs, expand the range of existing services, and automate internal processes. Now, it’s time to invest in the expansion of our production capacities. Moreover, over the past year, the number of J&C Aero team members doubled, and we acquired (and keep acquiring) new modern equipment – all of this brought us to the decision to invest in the construction of new production, warehousing, and office areas,” said Laurynas Skukauskas.
J&C Aero is an international aviation center for innovation in cabin transformation and CAMO. As an EASA-certified design, production, maintenance, and CAMO organization, J&C Aero provides extensive cabin interior and repair solutions for narrow and wide-body aircraft operators and owners.
The range of the company’s services covers cabin interior design and production, aircraft line and parts maintenance, engineering and continuing airworthiness management, aircraft teardown and spare parts supply, as well as special-purpose STC and VIP cabin solutions.
J&C Aero holds EASA Part 21J, Part 21G, Part 145, and CAMO approvals, supplemented by multiple STCs, authorizations, and other approvals.
