Horizon International Flight Academy is now operating an H01 entrol simulator, based on the Bell 206 and certified as FNPT II. The H01 simulator was installed by entrol in June at Horizon's base in Al Ain (UAE). It will be used in their initial courses and additional training for the Bell 206. As Patrice Bredemus, Horizon's head of training, explains: "while we were researching the markets for simulators we found the entrol H01/Bell 206 simulator fitted best with our training requirements." "Currently operating the device meets the training requirements and we are satisfied with it. This simulator will be used on flight training for courses where it is required by GCAA regulation. We are looking to reach our target of training in this simulator and add value on our flight training," he concludes.
