Russia’s Technodinamika, part of state-owned Rostec, plans to open a component maintenance center near Moscow’s Vnukovo International Airport,ATW reported.

The company expects to gain EASA Part 145 and Russia’s FAP 145 certificates in February 2016. The space for component maintenance is ready, Technodinamika said in a statement released last week.

Initially, the Technodinamika center will repair navigation and communication equipment, oxygen equipment, de-icing and fire prevention system components, as well as kitchen equipment for the Airbus A320, Boeing 737 and Russian-assembled Sukhoi Superjet 100. In the future, it plans add MC-21 components and gain a Part 21 certificate, allowing it to work with aircraft interiors.

Technodinamika CEO Oleg Vassilyev said it chose Vnukovo because it is “easily accessible for our clients; also the airport could provide us with appropriate spaces.”

The center expects to gain Russia’s biggest carriers as clients.

Technodinamika specializes in development, manufacturing and after-sale servicing of aircraft systems and accessories. It includes 36 companies in several Russian cities including Moscow, Ufa, Samara and Yekaterinburg.
