STS Line Maintenance (STSLM), a division of STS Aviation Group, announces that is has opened a new line maintenance station in Nassau and will now provide on-call and scheduled aircraft services to all commercial and regional carriers at every airport throughout the Bahamas.

The new line maintenance station is powered by a highly trained Bahamian staff, all of whom are certified by the Federal Aviation Administration as Airframe & Powerplant Mechanics.

“We have worked for more than a year to establish our first international station, and we strategically selected Nassau as it gave us the opportunity to hire a highly trained, A&P certified Bahamian staff,” communicates Mark Smith, Group President of STS Aviation Group. “Many of our clients reached out and asked us to seek a solution to their line maintenance needs in the Bahamas, and with the new Nassau station located only 45 minutes by air from our headquarters in Jensen Beach, Florida, it made perfect sense.”

The STS Line Maintenance Station in Nassau will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The station also has the ability to store spare aircraft parts on property, which adds a significant increase to the overall cost-savings STS is able to deliver to its customers.

“The aircraft services STS Line Maintenance provides are driven by customer satisfaction, and that’s why we’re committed to delivering year-round solutions that ensure our clients’ aircraft are serviced quickly, effectively and reliably,” states Robby Bush, Vice President and General Manager of STS Line Maintenance.
