Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects in collaboration with Dubai Air Navigation Services , has awarded ANRA Technologies the contract to design and deploy the Emirate’s next-generation Unmanned Aircraft System Traffic Management platform. This milestone initiative will establish one of the most advanced digital airspace management systems in the world, providing the foundation for safe, scalable, and innovative unmanned aircraft operations across the Dubai Control Traffic Area.

At the core of the program is ANRA’s US-based world-leading UTM platform, a production-grade software system trusted globally to integrate drones and advanced aerial vehicles into complex airspace. The platform will empower Dubai to authorize flights, monitor real-time airspace activity, detect and resolve conflicts, and coordinate seamlessly with critical stakeholders and commercial UAS operators.

Key Capabilities of Dubai’s UTM Platform

  • Integrated Digital Airspace Picture: Fusion of radar, weather, NOTAM, and live drone tracking into a unified, real-time operational view.

  • Advanced Operator Tools: Flight approvals, dynamic airspace management, strategic conflict detection, and emergency coordination powered by ANRA’s software suite.

  • Seamless Connectivity: Robust, high-availability data exchange between authorities, operators, and cloud-based services.

  • Future-Ready Design: Scalable architecture that can evolve to support counter-drone solutions, advanced analytics, with the ability to expand to support Urban Air Mobility and ultimately integration with Air Traffic Management (ATM).

The project will be delivered through a phased deployment approach, ensuring early capabilities are available while enabling continual enhancements over time. To support long-term success, ANRA will establish a dedicated presence in Dubai to provide ongoing expertise and ensure seamless operations.

H.E. Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of DAEP stated: “This project represents a major step forward in enabling safe and efficient drone operations in Dubai’s Control Traffic Area. The system will provide Dubai with the digital infrastructure to lead in unmanned aviation and ensure stakeholder collaboration from day one.”

H.E. Ibrahim Ahli, CEO of Dubai Air Navigation Services said: “Dubai’s sky is embarking on a new era of innovative solutions. Dubai Air Navigation Services is honoured to be at the forefront of this transformation, which will facilitate Dubai's development and expansion. We are deploying a UTM system of the highest standard, which will guarantee the most stringent safety and efficiency standards. This is Dubai's dedication to influencing the future of aviation.

ANRA Technologies, recognized as a global leader in advanced UTM solutions, brings proven expertise from deployments across Europe, Asia, and the United States. Dubai’s adoption of ANRA’s platform underscores the Emirate’s commitment to leveraging world-class technology to create a safe and innovative drone ecosystem.

Amit Ganjoo, Founder and CEO of ANRA Technologies commented: “We are honored to deliver this transformative project for Dubai. Dubai’s forward-thinking approach sets a global standard for drone integration. By combining Dubai’s vision with ANRA’s proven UTM technology, this initiative will not only transform local airspace management but also serve as a blueprint for the wider Middle East and beyond.”

This collaboration marks a defining milestone in aviation’s digital transformation. Together, Dubai and ANRA are creating one of the world’s most advanced UTM platforms, establishing a benchmark for safe, efficient, and scalable drone integration into urban airspaces.
