Aero Friedrichshafen was the place for Elixir Aircraft to announce the opening of two new facilities. A third French production site in Aytré near La Rochelle will be dedicated to composite production parts (fuselage and flight controls). The first site in USA, at Sarasota Bradenton Airport in Florida, will focus on the reassembly of aircraft intended for delivery to clients in the US.
Europe: major OneShot composite production site opening
In response to strong demand with over 200 orders, pre-orders and LOI, to speed up production of aircraft on order and following the recent fundraising of €40 million, Elixir Aircraft is announcing the opening of a new production site in La Rochelle. Close to the main site at La Rochelle airport, in the city of Aytré, this new 10,700 sq ft workshop already welcomes 26 employees and specialises in the production of OneShot composite parts (fuselage, flight controls, etc.).
USA: Opening of a facility in Sarasota
Elixir Aircraft is proud to announce its first site in the United States. Situated at Sarasota Bradenton Airport in Florida, this facility will focus on the reassembly of aircraft intended for delivery to clients in the US. The demand for Elixir aircraft in the American market is substantial, with over 200 units already pre-ordered. This expansion will result in the employment of approximately 200 new staff members at the Sarasota location, in addition to the existing 200 staff members in France. Elixir Aircraft now has four sites: three production sites in Europe, at La Rochelle airport - where a new 160,000 sq ft factory will be built in 2026 - and in Aytré; and a reassembly site in the United States, in Sarasota (FL).
