The Latvian airline airBaltic today, on June 1, 2017, relaunched a direct route linking Riga with the second largest city in Sweden – Gothenburg. The route offers convenient travel options for travellers from Sweden and Baltic States, as well as complements already exiting route from Riga to Stockholm, Arlanda airport.

Today by launching Riga – Gothenburg route airBaltic has fully entered the summer season. As informed previously, airBaltic has added 12 new destinations – Geneva (Switzerland), Aberdeen (United Kingdom), Stavanger (Norway), Gothenburg (Sweden), Tampere (Finland), Catania (Italy), Madrid (Spain), Odessa (Ukraine), Kazan (Russia) and Liepaja (Latvia) to the network of cities served from Riga, and introduced two new routes from Vilnius to Paris (France) and Munich (Germany).
