Etihad Guest announces a frequent flyer partnership with Taiwan-based STARLUX Airlines’ COSMILE loyalty programme. The partnership marks the next stage in the airlines' strategic relationship, building on the codeshare agreement signed in June 2025 and the launch of Etihad's direct services to Taipei in September last year. From 4 August, Etihad Guest members can redeem Etihad Guest Miles for flights in Business and Economy cabins across STARLUX's network, giving them expanded access to destinations across Asia, North America, and Europe; including onward connections to popular destinations such as Los Angeles, Phoenix and Seattle in the US and Okinawa, Kobe and Nagoya in Japan.

Later this year, the partnership will expand further. Etihad Guest members will also be able to earn Etihad Guest Miles when flying across the STARLUX network, and COSMILE members will, for the first time, be able to both earn and redeem miles across Etihad's expanding global network of more than 100 destinations.

Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer Etihad Airways, commented: "This partnership with COSMILE gives our members more ways to use their Etihad Guest Miles, opening up STARLUX's network across Asia, North America and Europe from this August. As we build towards full reciprocal earning and redemption in October, we're creating a seamless loyalty experience that reflects the strength of our wider partnership with STARLUX, from our codeshare agreement to our direct Abu Dhabi–Taipei service. We look forward to welcoming more COSMILE members into the Etihad Guest experience later this year."

Richard Tseng, Chief Passenger Commercial Officer STARLUX Airlines, stated: "Our loyalty partnership with Etihad Guest is a natural next step in our relationship with Etihad, following our codeshare agreement last year. Offering our COSMILE members the ability to earn and redeem miles across Etihad's global network will give them far greater reach, and reflects the shared commitment both airlines have to delivering an exceptional experience for our customers."

The loyalty partnership follows the strategic codeshare agreement Etihad and STARLUX signed in June 2025, and the launch of Etihad's Abu Dhabi–Taipei service in September 2025, operated by Etihad’s Boeing 787-9. Together, these agreements position Abu Dhabi as a gateway between STARLUX's Asia-Pacific network and Etihad's routes across Europe, and Taipei as a key connecting point for Etihad customers travelling across Asia.
