Direct flights from Paris, London and Birmingham to Toronto.
The low cost airline intends to revolutionize the trans-Atlantic aviation market
Primera Air announces opening of another North America destination from its new bases in London Stansted, Birmingham and Paris: Toronto (YYZ) will be served three times per week from Birmingham and London and four times per week from Paris.
“Yet again, we are very proud to announce our new direct routes from our Europe bases to Canada. Toronto will be a great addition to our earlier announced New York (EWR) and Boston routes from London, Birmingham and Paris.
With our brand new Airbus321NEOs airplanes, we are opening routes previously traditionally served only by wide-body aircrafts. With unmatched efficiency of these new-generation aircraft, we will be able to offer unprecedented prices to our passengers from France and UK to US and Canada. At the same time, we are very proud to be offering a low-fare/high quality product and service concept, that will be perfect both for leisure and business travelers,” says Andri M. Ingolfsson, the president and Chairman of Primera Air.
Aircraft will provide two classes of cabin - full-service Premium and low-fare Economy, Wi-Fi and opportunity for all passengers to charge their devices on board.
Services from new bases to Canada will commence in May 2018 and will be year-round operations. Primera Air to Toronto (YYZ) will offer three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from London (Stansted) and Birmingham (BHX) and four weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from Paris (CDG). Tickets are available on sale and the lowest fares will be available on www.primeraair.com
Daily flights to New York and four weekly flights to Boston from all three bases were announced earlier this summer.
For the next two years Primera Air will increase its presence on the existing bases and open other trans-Atlantic routes, as well as open new bases, as the airlines has 20 new Boeing Max9-ER on order.
Primera Air is scheduled operator, operating flights to more than 70 airports in Europe. Primera Air is based in Denmark and Latvia, and is part of the Primera Travel Group that operates travel agencies and tour operating companies in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland and Estonia.
