Leisure carrier Small Planet Airlines GmbH is strengthening its positions in the German market flying from two new locations – Bremen and Paderborn. The company has revealed it started cooperating with Germany’s leading tour operator, and during the next holiday season it will fly to Rhodes, Heraklion, Kos, Menorca, Burgas.

“Working with the most popular travel organizer is the best way to grow for a recently established company. Our new destinations are among the most popular German holiday destinations”, says Andreas Wobig, CEO at Small Planet Airlines GmbH.

Small Planet Airlines began offering its services to the German market this October. In the first half of 2016 Small Planet Airlines GmbH is planning to obtain a German air operator’s certificate and operate flights under the German registration. For the next summer season, a total 14 weekly flights with TUI Deutschland are scheduled, more than 300 in total.

“We are looking forward to this collaboration with Small Planet, as we can expand our extensive flight program even further with more non-stop flights on attractive prices”, says Olaf Petersenn, director commercial aviation from TUI Deutschland.

During the first half of the year the income of Small Planet Group rose by 25.3%. The company is planning to invest added profits in the passenger comfort: during the upcoming year EUR 6 million will be spent on renewing all of its aircraft, making it the largest investment in the fleet renewal throughout the company’s history.
