The Latvian airline airBaltic will improve its service between Riga and Berlin Tegel, by operating a larger jet aircraft starting from October 25, 2015. This will upgrade the connection between the Latvian and German capitals, as well as offer convenient travel opportunities beyond to the Baltic region, Scandinavia and the CIS countries.

Christophe Viatte, Chief Commercial Officer of airBaltic: “We are delighted that we have more than doubled the amount of seats we are offering on Riga-Berlin, at the same time lowering the lead-in ticket prices to EUR 39.”


airBaltic will fly from Riga to Berlin twice daily. Passengers will board a Boeing 737 aircraft for a flight that will last 1 hour 55 minutes. One-way ticket prices will start at 39 EUR (down from the previous 79 EUR), including airport fees and transaction costs.
