Aviator Airport Alliance signed a new multi-year service agreement with China Southern Airlines at Helsinki Airport (HEL). The contract marks the beginning of a significant new partnership as the carrier launches its inaugural service between Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX) and Helsinki. China Southern operated its inaugural flight to Helsinki on 29 March. Aviator is providing comprehensive ground handling services from day one, including passenger handling, ramp services, baggage handling, and de-icing.

Founded in 1988, China Southern Airlines is one of the largest airlines in the world, operating a fleet of almost 900 aircraft and serving more than 200 destinations globally. The airline runs over 2,000 flights daily, making it a major force in both regional and long-haul aviation.

Minna Virmajoki, Interim Managing Director of Aviator at Finland commented: “With the new agreement now in place, we look forward to supporting China Southern Airlines’ presence in Helsinki and ensuring a smooth, reliable passenger handling and aircraft experience on the ground. This partnership strengthens our role in supporting high-quality ground handling services at Helsinki Airport and reflects our shared commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service. We are proud to partner with such a significant global carrier and excited for the collaboration ahead over the coming years.”
