KLM's first Dreamliner has touched down in Abu Dhabi after its inaugural flight left Amsterdam this week.

The aircraft will operate between Abu Dhabi International Airport and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport on seven direct flights a week, and will be the first route served by the new Dreamliner.

“We are delighted to introduce the KLM Dreamliner to the Abu Dhabi and Bahrain routes and we are very confident that our valuable customers here will appreciate this new level of experience, on key routes for the airline,” said Gilles Roche, general manager for Air France KLM Gulf, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Pakistan.
Passengers in business class will benefit from fullflat seats and full privacy, while passengers in economy class will be sat in new seats with 40% more recline with power sockets and a new state-of-the-art inflight entertainment system.
