The new year for Blueberry Aviation is off to an exciting start as the company celebrates its 20th anniversary this week at HAI Heli-Expo 2023 in Atlanta. The company has passed another milestone this March, as it has closed on its 500th helicopter transaction after the successful delivery of an AW139 to a VIP customer. 2023 is a banner year for Blueberry Aviation, as it marks 20 years of the team serving the civil aviation industry in both helicopter and commercial aircraft sales. With a team of 25 aviation professionals, Blueberry Aviation is based in Monaco with offices in Dublin, New York, Tokyo, and Singapore.
Last year, Blueberry Aviation completed 28 helicopter transactions resulting from sales across all regions. Since the company’s launch by its CEO and Founder, Francois Gautier, in Dublin in 2003, Blueberry Aviation has moved more than USD 1.75 billion in rotary assets for over 275 customers.
In 2022 Blueberry Aviation announced its long term partnership with Dufour Aerospace to commercialize it two EVTOL programs, Aero 2 drone and Aero 3 aircraft, with an option to acquire up to 100 of each aircraft model.
The company is also a leading provider of investment, lease management, and aircraft placement services for the commercial aircraft industry. It has completed more than 165 commercial aircraft transactions over the past 20 years, performed more than 500 inspections, and moved more than USD 3.5 billion worth of assets for over 65 commercial aircraft customers.
The company recently successfully placed 11x ATR 72-600 aircraft with a US-based lessor this year.
CEO and Founder, Francois Gautier, commented: “I am extremely proud to have started this company twenty years ago. It is much more than a company, it is a team, a family, and it continues to be a great adventure. Over the past twenty years, our industry has experienced many peaks, many troughs, and has overcome numerous economic and industrial challenges. As a team, we have adapted and learned from each experience and we keep coming out stronger and better in the ways we can service our clients. This is a great opportunity to thank our customers and partners for their continued trust and loyalty, as we could not have reached this incredible milestone without them. But first and foremost, I want to thank my team for making Blueberry Aviation the unique, fun, and exciting place that it is.”
Established in 2003, Blueberry Aviation is a fully independent aircraft trading and asset management company that specializes in end-to-end solutions for complex helicopter and commercial aircraft remarketing, trading, leasing, and sales transactions. With offices in Monaco, Dublin, New York, and Singapore, our team of experts is focused on optimizing the value of each asset and transaction while delivering end-to-end support with reliability and integrity.
