A masterpiece by Hans Erni flew to the northern capital - PC-12 NG presented in "Pulkovo-3"

Nesterov Aviation (authorized center of the Swiss aircraft manufacturer Pilatus Aircraft Sales turboprop PC-12 in Russia) began a demonstration tour of the popular turboprop Pilatus PC-12NG in Russian cities. The first stop of the aircraft - the "Pulkovo - 3" airport in St. Petersburg, where the presentation and negotiations with potential customers just eneded. "JetPort St. Petersburg", managed by Business Aviation Center  "Pulkovo-3" were servicing the aircraft.

We must say that the plane got such attention not only due to its unique performance characteristics and operational capabilities, but maybe even more due to fantastic unique livery.

Just to remind, last December Pilatur Aircraft were celebrating 75th birthday. 16 December 1939 in Stans, Switzerland, a small company was born - Pilatus, which eventually became the national symbol of the most famous alpine country. World-famous artist Hans Erni, the author of numerous works for the IOC, the UN, the Red Cross, UNESCO and the IATA having Swiss roots, decided to make us a gift - a livery for the most popular turboprop PC-12 NG, which will be demonstrated at numerous exhibitions, including Moscow Jet Expo 2015.

The livery is amazing! The fuselage is decorated with horses and Pegasus. Ernie told, animals were chosen as a symbol of endurance, speed and excellent flight characteristics of the PC-12 NG. The artist left only a "small footprint" - put his signature on the hood of the aircraft, thereby securing the assembly of the aircraft with the number 1515 absolute uniqueness. "I worked on different projects in different countries, but for the first time in the aircraft industry. I am very proud that the plane with my pictures will  be seen by people around the world, I am proud of my country ", - said Ernie.

The CEO of Nesterov Aviation Yevgeny Okladnikov told, that potential of this aircraft on the Russian market is huge. "The use of the RS-12NG can be really diverse. This may be an air taxi for the management with cabin configuration "six plus two VIP», as well as air ambulance, or the best option for transportation of goods, search and rescue operations and other different missions. Another important factor is the fact that PC-12NG aircraft can take off and land anywhere, including even the gravel runway length of only 700 meters.

Swiss manufacturer representatives noted that Pilatus Aircraft has now enough orders for the PC-12 to produce more than 140 aircraft per year. But the company deliberately limits production rates, so as not to undercut the proposal unnecessary. Two-thirds of these aircraft are designed for the North American market. All PC-12 customers are supplied through regional distributors, who are contractually obligated to provide maintenance services to operators. PC-12 is made for more than 20 years, and about every two years, Pilatus introduces significant improvements to the aircraft structure. In addition to orders for aircraft of new construction has been a steady demand in the secondary market, far superior proposal.

The next stop for PC-12NG will be Moscow "Vnukovo-3" airport, where the plane will be presented to customers as part of theInternational Business Aviation Exhibition Jet Expo 2015, which will begin on September 10th.
