Bombardier Business Aircraft has announced the appointment of Elena Skomorokhina as Sales Director, CIS.

As reported to BizavNews, the Canadian aviation manufacturer Bombardier Business Aircraft has welcomed Elena Skomorokhina as Sales Director in CIS. This information was confirmed to BizAv News by the public relations department of the manufacturer. In this new position, Elena Skomorokhina will be in charge of Bombardier Business Aircraft sales in CIS countries.

Before joining Bombardier, Elena Skomorokhina held key positions at Airbus Helicopters (previously named Eurocopter) and Airbus Corporate Jets.

In 2004, Elena graduated from Moscow State Institute of International Relations. She holds a Masters degree in Economics. 

Christophe Degoumois, Vice President, Bombardier Business Aircraft Sales, believes the CIS market has great potential for growth, and the appointment of Elena Skomorokhina as Sales Director will strengthen the position of the Canadian original equipment manufacturer in the region.

“Elena’s experience supports our positioning in today’s regional landscape, which we believe will strengthen considerably. Such countries as Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan are key markets in the region due to their economic development. We can offer our clients almost all solutions across the mid-range, super mid-range and ultra-long range categories."

Last year, Bombardier Business Aircraft delivered 199 business jets.  Deliveries included 73 Global 5000/Global 6000 aircraft, 68 Challenger 300/Challenger 350 aircraft, 25 Challenger 605/ Challenger 650 aircraft, one Challenger 850 aircraft and 32 Learjet 70/Learjet75 aircraft.
