EBACE 2023 was opened for only 30 minutes, when we had a quick interview with Puja Mahajan, Co-Founder, Azzera, first time exhibitor of this edition. As we’ve informed recently, Azzera came to EBACE to present its platform -Azzera Celeste. A tool that allows aircraft operators to take action against emissions by providing access to voluntary and compliance carbon credit trading, sustainable aviation fuel certificates, fleet management software integration and compliance market segregation services.

Q. Your first impressions?
P.M. We are very excited to be first time exhibitors, but it is also a great sense of accomplishment to be here. We had launched just last year.
Q. What do you expect?
P.M. We want to demonstrate the platform, what we’ve been working hard this year. It is truly a next step to introduce sustainability to business aviation. To show people the platform, what we can do from digital tools perspective, to make the way to sustainable aviation easier. Our objective is to bring operators to the platform to help us to test what we’ve created. We are looking for operators to come and just enjoy the platform.
Q. During Media Day at EBACE we were discussion sustainable aviation and it is obvious that manufacturers are truly committed and determined to reach the goal despite all difficulties. If I might give an advice – go and talk and explain. Unfortunately, there will be people hesitating to ask.
P.M. I think you are absolutely right. What I’ve been experiencing this since last year. This is what we were doing – educating, via social media and in each conversation with clients. We do need to be a lot more active in reaching out. Let’s spend 10 minutes. Because it requires 10 minutes to sit down and walk true what we can do better with our solution made for aviation industry.
Q. This is the best point – what you are offering it is not for tomorrow or further future, it is available here and today. The point is to let know, to educate and let try.
P.M. There is no investment needed in most cases, other if they want to make an audit for the entire company what can be done in more sustainable way to reduce carbon emissions. So we are very much looking forward to discuss, to show what we can do now.
