Centreline, the leading European aircraft charter and management company, has strengthened its position as the continent's most significant operator of the Legacy 500 aircraft after taking delivery of a second, brand new aircraft under management. The jet is based in Manchester and will be available for charter bookings from the end of March 2018.

The aircraft, which has a range of 3100 nautical miles, will add capacity to destinations such as the former CIS, Greece and the Canary Islands, even from relatively short runways such as Dundee and Oxford. The aircraft has the kudos of being the penultimate one of its kind to come out of Embraer's manufacturing centre in Brazil. The Legacy is Centreline's third super-midsize jet, complementing the company's existing Legacy 500 and Falcon 2000LXS.

Captain James Pyne, flight operations manager for Centreline commented, “I have had the pleasure of flying the Legacy 500 for the last two years and I am thrilled that we now have a second one in our fleet. The aircraft is a delight to operate and we have had 100% positive feedback from our passengers on the experience we can give them on-board.”

Centreline CEO, Tanya Raynes added “Winning the contract for a second aircraft of this type is a clear sign that Centreline is firmly establishing itself as a management organisation of choice with owners of aircraft of any size. The Legacy 500 is the perfect aircraft for us as it is designed to deliver an exceptional experience which mirrors Centreline's brand values.”

Centreline has committed to a long-term relationship with the Legacy 500 and is the only management company in the UK to have both line training captains and Part 145 maintenance coverage for this type.
