Cessna has delivered the first Citation Latitude to its new owner. The aircraft received its FAA type certification on June 5.
According to the FAA online database, the first aircraft was registered to BSAV LLC. The database shows the change date for MSN 680A-0007 / N275BS as being August 24.
The aircraft will be operated by Aircraft Management Group, who will offer the aircraft for charter from its Pittsburgh base.
“What’s appealing is that it’s got the amenities of larger aircraft but the flexibility to fly into short fields with trans-continental range. That appeals to a lot of customers.” said John Sieckowski, president of Aircraft Management Group.
Online flight tracking website FlightAware shows the only flight for N275BS taking place on August 21 between Wichita and Pittsburgh.
“Incorporating our customers’ input into the initial concepts of the Citation Latitude to now having the aircraft in their hands is both rewarding and exciting for everyone at Textron Aviation,” said Scott Ernest, president and CEO, Textron Aviation. “Like each new model, the Latitude reflects our continued investment in bringing products to market with the latest technology, enhanced performance and best value proposition. The momentum continues with the ongoing global tour and opportunity for prospective customers to see first-hand the latest in the Citation stable of products, which sets the standard for what they can expect to see from new products in the future.”
