Desert Jet finalized an agreement with the County of Riverside to expand its leasehold at Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport (KTRM), enabling the development of an additional 7.5 acres to support the continued growth of its Desert Jet Center fixed-base operator (FBO) and aircraft maintenance services. Development will begin later this year.

The agreement reinforces Desert Jet's long-term commitment to Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport by providing additional leasehold acreage adjacent to its existing FBO campus. This expansion will enable the company to enhance its hangar infrastructure, increase aircraft parking capacity, and scale on-field maintenance capabilities to meet the growing demand from business aviation operators.

Jared Fox, Desert Jet CEO commented: "This agreement represents an important step forward for Desert Jet’s KTRM location and secures our ability to meet our existing demand. The expansion will allow us to increase capacity, enhance our maintenance capabilities, and continue delivering the elevated service experience that defines Desert Jet Center. This expansion represents a long-term investment in our customers, our team, and the KTRM airport; We are excited to begin construction on this next phase and continue operating Desert Jet Center as a premier destination for business aviation."

Desert Jet has long operated at Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport and has steadily invested in infrastructure to support business aviation activity serving the Coachella Valley and Greater Palm Springs region. The airport has become an increasingly important gateway for corporate aviation, seasonal travel, and high-value visitors to the region.

The planned expansion will strengthen Desert Jet's ability to accommodate a broader mix of aircraft, increase access to maintenance services and improve operational efficiencies. Desert Jet's continued investment reflects long-term confidence in Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport and its strategic role as a growing business and general aviation hub in Southern California.
