ExecuJet, part of the Luxaviation Group, is celebrating its tenth FBO to receive recognition from the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH), after its Munich facility was awarded IS-BAH Stage I accreditation.
The FBO, which was fully refurbished last year, is located at Munich International Airport, just 20 minutes from the city centre. Guests can take a virtual tour of the facility prior to visiting, previewing the dedicated crew restroom and VIP passenger lounge.
Ronny Stechert, Munich FBO Station Manager, ExecuJet, says: “Our Munich FBO is increasingly popular with travellers to Germany, with movements up 5% year-on-year. This is largely thanks to the professional handling services we provide during key events such as Oktoberfest and the annual Munich security conference in February. In addition, for the past two years we have acted as an overflow facility to ease traffic from Zürich during the World Economic Forum, which has helped to grow our client base.
“This new accreditation from the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) is testament to the Munich team’s dedication to upholding our impeccable service standards, especially during these peak times throughout the year.”
Ettore Poggi, Group FBO Director, Luxaviation Group, says: “We operate a universal standard of safety and service across all 27 ExecuJet FBOs worldwide, and we are delighted this has been recognised by IBAC. Munich is our tenth FBO to achieve this renowned accreditation and of that number, three of our facilities – Berlin, Lanseria and Zürich – have progressed to Stage II accreditation, further demonstrating the strength of our global network.”
IS-BAH is a joint programme between IBAC and the National Air Transportation Association (NATA). To see the Munich FBO renovation, visitwww.execujet.com/en/service/fbo/locations/locations-worldwide/munich.
