RUAG Aviation is on a demo tour with the Dornier 228 in Latin America. The aircraft will visit ten countries in 56 days. The tour will cover over 40,000 kilometers, allowing potential customers to examine the aircraft.
“During the tour we’re expecting important visits from local airlines, mining companies and representatives from various armed forces and governmental entities,” RUAG Aviation Sales Manager Carlos Salamanca says.
The Dornier 228 has been outfitted with a variety of equipment for the tour that will enable potential customers to get an impression of just how many configurations are possible. The tour starts in Mexico. From there, the aircraft will fly to Brazil, Panama, Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Paraguay.
