As travelers gear up for the upcoming ski season, Sweetwater Aviation—the exclusive FBO at Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport (KRKS)—is excited to announce that premium hangar space is now open for reservations. Perfectly situated for convenient aircraft repositioning when visiting the region’s popular mountain resorts, Sweetwater Aviation offers peace of mind, exceptional service and streamlined winter operations for every guest—including its highest capacity for hangar storage to date.

FBO’s facility features a 24,000-square-foot heated community hangar—capable of accommodating G700/G800 and Global 7500/8000 aircraft—along with private corporate hangars and T-hangars. These secure, temperature-controlled facilities allow operators to avoid winter challenges, eliminating the need for engine pre-heating and de-icing situations.

Sweetwater Aviation’s convenient location serves as a strategic base for winter travel, offering easy access to popular ski resorts and major metropolitan areas. The FBO is known for its personalized service and offers a full lineup of capabilities, including de-icing, cargo handling and full-service Jet-A and 100LL. Guests enjoy an array of premium amenities, such as a bright and welcoming lobby, complimentary refreshments, an executive conference room, on-site rental cars and a golf simulator.

Devon Brubaker, A.A.E., airport director for Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport and general manager of Sweetwater Aviation commented: “With ski season approaching, we know pilots and passengers are looking for reliable, convenient aircraft protection. Providing ample, secure storage for our guests is a top priority at Sweetwater Aviation, and our team is ready to accommodate winter travelers with exceptional service and top-notch amenities that set the tone for any trip—whether it’s business or a well-deserved ski retreat.”

Operators are encouraged to reserve hangar space early, as winter demand increases rapidly with the start of ski season. To reward winter travelers, Sweetwater Aviation is offering an AVTRIP Points promotion: triple points on every gallon or 5x points per gallon on every top-off.

As an Avfuel-branded partner, Sweetwater Aviation provides customers with lucrative rewards with AVTRIP and competitive prices with Avfuel Contract Fuel. Customers will also benefit from transaction ease when using the Avfuel Pro Card at the FBO with the ability to put everything—fuel and non-fuel items with or without a fuel purchase—on one transaction, avoiding processing fees.
