Tamarack Aerospace Group expands its European presence through the addition of Rheinland Air Service GmbH as a new Authorized Tamarack Dealer. This new partnership with RAS brings Tamarack’s transformative Active Winglet technology to Germany, where aircraft owners and operators will benefit from RAS’s extensive expertise and high-quality service standards. Rheinland Air Service, based in Moenchengladbach, Germany, will now be offering installations of Tamarack’s patented Active Winglets, further strengthening Tamarack's presence in Europe.

RAS will provide the same high-quality, efficient installations that Tamarack is known for, ensuring minimal downtime for customers seeking to improve their aircraft’s fuel efficiency, safety, range, and overall performance. European customers are particularly interested in the emissions reductions and noise pollution improvement offered by Tamarack Active Winglets.

RAS Director of Business Aviation Maintenance, Ingo Plückthun commented: “We have carefully considered this aircraft upgrade, performing competitive analysis between the straight Citation CJ2 and the Tamarack CJ2, for example. We have looked at items such as the cruise performance improvement data and also the increased payload capability; and have also evaluated the quality of the product and the safety which is of course well established with the EASA and FAA approvals. We have done this for the series from the M2 up to the CJ3+ and after careful study we can see that this is a very good offering and we are proud to offer this upgrade to our customers.”

Tamarack CEO Nick Guida stated: “We are thrilled to partner with Rheinland Air Service, a company that is well-known and respected in the European aviation community. This partnership is a significant step in expanding our global network and delivering our fuel-saving, emission-reducing technology to more customers across Europe. RAS’s commitment to quality aligns perfectly with Tamarack’s goals, and we are confident this partnership will enable aircraft owners in Germany and beyond to benefit from our technology.”

Tamarack’Active Winglets are an innovative, lightweight solution that dramatically improves the performance and efficiency of aircraft, offering fuel savings, improved climb performance, and enhanced safety, without requiring any structural reinforcement of the airframe. With nearly 10% of the CitationJet fleet already upgraded with Tamarack technology, demand for these upgrades continues to rise following the positive NTSB update earlier this year, which reaffirmed the safety and reliability of the technology.

Aircraft performance and flight planning platforms have adopted the data available for the Tamarack Active Winglet upgrade, offering quantified performance benefits of the upgrade for private and charter operators. Nervous passengers appreciate the more comfortable ride offered by the Tamarack Active Winglets because of the turbulence reduction, and this is important if aircraft are being used for charter operations or private aviation.
