Web Manuals is announcing a partnership with Advanced Safety and Quality Solutions (ASQS), a web-based safety, quality and risk management solution for the aviation, maritime and offshore sector, to save auditors hundreds of working hours every year.
The Web Manuals functionality will be integrated within ASQS’s Intuitive Quality and Safety Management System (IQSMS) to support auditors with the preparation of audits.
Martin Lidgard, CEO and founder of Web Manuals, says: “It became obvious during discussions with ASQS that an integrated solution would offer a new level of digitization for customers, and in turn, improve safety within these organizations. This is just the beginning too – further integration will allow users to pull out process compliance links and generate an audit plan, complete with requirement list, all at the touch of a button.”

The partnership will save auditors a substantial amount of time when conducting audits. This is done not only through the automated retrieval of compliance links, but also the automated cross-referencing of regulatory content in IQSMS to document references in Web Manuals. Time saved can instead be used to focus on analyzing the implementation of the audit, thus improving efficiency.
Günther Schindl, managing director at ASQS, says: “We estimate that hundreds of working hours per year will be saved for auditors, as well as 1-2 working weeks for top-level managers. Through my previous experience as a quality manager for a private jet operator, I know how time-saving this partnership will be for our customers.
“Users can now use the compliance link functionality from Web Manuals to quickly view relevant manuals within their own internal documents, and on one interface. This has made a huge improvement to our customers’ efficiency, as previously they had to manually upload documents from Web Manuals into the IQSMS software. This is feedback we took on board and implemented as part of our ongoing commitment to our customers.”
ASQS won the ‘Partner of the Year’ award at Web Manuals’ GO DIGITAL Conference in September.
