AERO 2027 will place an even stronger spotlight on the helicopter sector, building on the momentum and success of AERO 2026, organisers Fairnamic announced today. As Europe’s leading trade fair for General Aviation, Business Aviation and Air Sports continues to broaden its scope, helicopters for executive, general aviation and utility missions will be showcased across three interconnected exhibition areas.
Reflecting growing market demand, AERO’s expanding Business Aviation segment will increasingly integrate rotorcraft alongside business jets and turboprops. Among the first confirmed exhibitors are an enlarged pavilion hosted by the German Helicopter Association (DHV), as well as Bell, Robinson, Guimbal and DRF Luftrettung, underscoring the event’s strengthened commitment to the helicopter community.
Tobias Bretzel, AERO Show Director at Fairnamic GmbH commented: "With some 50 business aircraft (fixed wing and rotary wing) showcased in 2026, it became clear that this section of the show was not only welcomed, but that corporate helicopters are a complementary and highly valued part of executive aviation. This is a logical extension for helicopter OEMs, operators and owners, many of whom are already closely involved in fixed wing operations. We’re delighted with the positive response and pro-active feedback from customers, who continue to help shape the trade show with us. We will also be featuring helicopter and future eVTOL discussions in our conference programme. Advancing AERO generally and the AERO Business Aviation Show Hub, in collaboration with our industry partners, is our top priority."

Following the strong attendance of 37,000 visitors at the 2026 edition, AERO 2027 will further strengthen its rotorcraft offering with a dedicated exhibition area for helicopter OEMs. The expanded presence includes a larger footprint for Bell, a Textron company, while Robinson Helicopter Company plans a significant showcase, using the event as a key platform to bring together its dealer and service centre network from across Europe.
At the lighter end of the market, AERO’s traditionally strong ultralight and light sport segment will be enhanced by an expanded display of helicopters and gyrocopters within these categories. Having built its reputation on this sector from the outset, AERO is well positioned to attract a record number of ultralight rotary-wing aircraft, further broadening the appeal and diversity of the 2027 exhibition.
