NBAA is holding its annual Business Aircraft Finance, Registration & Legal Conference next month in Boca Raton, Fla. The agenda for the conference, which will be held from February 10 to 12, features speakers who are experts in aviation finance, aircraft utilization options, regulatory topics, tax planning and risk management.

Among the new topics this year are an analysis of emerging business aviation utilization options, including scheduled operations and per seat options; review of the key provisions and endorsements in aviation insurance policies; considerations for selecting a non-U.S. aircraft registry; reducing exposure to cybercrime and scams in aircraft escrow closings, with the FBI’s Chad Knapp taking part in this discussion; ratification of the Cape Town Convention by the UK and its effect on transactions; and updates on unmanned aircraft systems, including new regulations and how UASs are being used in business aircraft operations.

JetNet iQ managing director Rollie Vincent will cap the first full day of sessions on February 11 with an update on the health of the business aviation industry. The second day will conclude with a session about current trends in the aircraft financing industry, moderated by Ford von Weise of Citi Private Bank.
