Air Tahiti has mandated UK based lessor Falko Regional Aircraft to remarket six aircraft as part of its fleet renewal program.

Each of the aircraft has been operated since new by the airline and will make way for the ATR72-600 aircraft that the airline has on order. The aircraft, with MSNs 719, 731, 751, 806, 829 and 862, will be available from the fourth quarter of 2015. Air Tahiti has already taken delivery of two ATR42-600 and one ATR72-600 as it moves ahead with its fleet renewal.

Will van Zeventer, SVP Portfolio Development Falko added:

“Falko has an excellent track record of remarketing a wide variety of aircraft types with an extensive history in the regional aircraft market. Our experience, expertise and market knowledge means that we are ideally positioned to help Air Tahiti facilitate the removal of the ATR72-500 aircraft from their fleet”

Francis Pierre, Technical Director Air Tahiti commented:

“We have chosen to work with Falko on this project, as we feel that by combining our resources, and experience in this market segment we can achieve successful placements of these aircraft on the best possible commercial terms.”
