AviaAM Leasing, a Warsaw Stock Exchange listed aircraft leasing company, announces that its joint venture with the Henan Civil Aviation Development and Investment Company (HNCA) – AviaAM Financial Leasing China – has delivered the 7th brand new Airbus A320 family aircraft to Aeroflot – Russian Airlines. The delivery took place at Airbus facilities in Toulouse, France.

On the 6th of September brand-new Airbus A320-214 (MSN 7806) produced at Airbus facilities in Toulouse was delivered to its new operator Aeroflot – Russian Airlines. The aircraft powered by two CFM56-5 engines comes in a configuration of 150 economy and 8 business class seats. The leading Eurasian airline will operate Airbus A320 for the next 12 years under the operating lease agreement.

“The first phase of our joint venture’s pilot project with Aeroflot is nearing its completion as we’ve delivered seven out of eight Airbuses and we expect to deliver the last aircraft by the end of September. Since signing the agreement, the parties have had an exciting time exchanging business practices and I am delighted that AviaAM Leasing has contributed to the development plans of Aeroflot,” shared Tadas Goberis, Chairman of the Board and CEO of AviaAM Leasing.

The project with Aeroflot – Russian Airlines involves sale and lease back of total 8 ex-factory Airbus A320/A321 aircraft. Execution of the delivery plan spanned over the 5 month period.

AviaAM Financial Leasing China was established as a joint venture between AviaAM Leasing and the Henan Civil Aviation Development and Investment Company (HNCA) on the basis of One Belt One Road initiative. The newly delivered Airbus A320 will complement the operations of Aeroflot – Russian Airlines at more than 130 international routes across 50 countries.
