Chinese lessor ICBC Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. placed an order for 30 Boeing 737-800NG aircraft on the first day of President Xi Jinping's visit to the United States, which is the first aircraft deal signed during this visit.
President Xi arrived in Seattle on Tuesday morning for his first state visit to the United States. Chinese airlines and aircraft leasing firms will order up to 300 aircraft from the Boeing company during President Xi's visit.

President Xi will visit Boeing's Everett, Wash., factory on Wednesday morning. Boeing is said to build its first non-U.S. airliner plant in China, for the completion and handover of single-aisle 737 jets to customers. China and the U.S. will further strengthen their cooperation in the civil aviation sector.
