Omni Air International and AFI KLM E&M have inked a renewal of their existing long-term contract under which AFI KLM E&M handles maintenance and repair of the CF6-80C2 engines powering the carrier's fleet of Boeing 767-200ERs and 767-300ERs - a total of ten aircraft.

"We were pleased to have been able to convince Omni a first time, and now we can re-confirm this trust-based relationship as we extend our partnership," said AFI KLM E&M Ton Dortmans, EVP KLM E&M. That sentiment was echoed by David Gantner, Senior Director Maintenance, Materials and Engineering at Omni Air International: "These past few years we have always been completely satisfied with AFI KLM E&M's services and support for our engines, so we didn't think twice about renewing this contract and extending our near 17 year relationship."

Omni Air International is a privately-owned US airline operating domestic and international services. Set up in 1993, it currently operates a fleet of twelve Boeing 767 and 777 aircraft in over 130 countries. Omni Air International provides air charter services for a diversified customer portfolio of travel agents, scheduled and charter airlines, sports teams, and government agencies worldwide.
