It is with great pleasure that we announce EuroPilot Center (EPC), now part of the International Pilot Center Alliance (ICPA), has chosen Alsim to deliver an ALX Simulator at their soon-to-be upgraded, fully solar powered premises in Antwerp, Belgium. The device will be used during phase 6 of the future Integrated Airline Career Program, covering the EASA APS/MCC. During 2 to 3 weeks of intense training, students will be immersed in a true Airline environment. This will ensure EPC graduates obtain the necessary technical and non-technical skills to transition smoothly into any future Type Rating.

The ALSIM ALX FSTD provides up to 4 classes of aircraft–from single engine piston, twin engine piston, twin turbine up to medium category twin jets (generic B737/A320). The device is designed and approved for ATPL, CPL, APS/MCC in compliance with all current regulatory standards. The ALX offers advanced technology simulation equipment tailored to all specific training requirements. In addition, it has a proven track record for cost- effectiveness and helps save numerous aircraft hours.

Mrs Audrey Jeffroy, ALSIM Sales Director said: "It has been a pleasure working again with EuroPilot Center / IPCA on this project. We wish them the best for the years to come."

Mr. Kay Vereeken, CEO at EPC and Board Member of IPCA, explains why the Alsim ALX is the perfect match for their future Integrated Airline Career program: "After in-depth consideration of all different training devices currently on the market, we opted for the high-quality, versatile and proven Hybrid (B737/A320) APS/MCC ALX Simulator, including the very latest features such as: Electronic Flight Bags (EFB), Performance Based Nav (PBN), Smoke/Oxygen Systems and highly accurate flight characteristics. The new visual system by Alsim is truly spectacular and adds tremendous value to the overall experience during the UPRT training as well."

With campuses in Antwerp (Belgium) and Coachella (California, USA), the International Pilot Center Alliance offers a complete range of EASA and FAA pilot training courses, starting from the Private Pilot level, up to Commercial/ATP and Flight Instructor/CFII. By becoming part of IPCA, EuroPilot & SoCal Pilot Center will undergo a strong expansion in the upcoming months. The main focus remains on providing highly Personalized Flight Training, while using the very latest technology. The Campus in Antwerp will become one of the first fully solar powered ATO’s in Europe.

A brand new 6,500 sq. feet Aviation Training Center will be constructed in Coachella (California), providing both FAA Part 141 and EASA training on US soil.

Staffed with full-time European Flight Instructors, IPCA guarantees the highest quality standards in flight training. All facilities, including luxurious student housing, are an integral part of this new Alliance. The US branch is also part of the Textron Aviation, Cessna Pilot Center Network since 2016, and has been approved as an FAA Testing Center.

Both branches train currently 30 to 40 Airline Cadets each year, of which 85% are destined for European Airlines and 15% for the US Aviation Industry. In Europe, alumni find jobs with major companies such as Brussels Airlines, TUIfly, ASL Belgium, Germanwings, Ryanair, Transavia, Aer Lingus, Air Baltic, etc. after completion of the Part-Time (Modular) or Integrated Airline Career Program.
