Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) issued the certificate of conformance with IAC Aviation Rules, Part 145 (AR-145) to AMTES GmbH (a member of Volga-Dnepr Technics Subgroup). This certificate extends company’s capabilities in AN-124 aircraft maintenance and repair.

The document was handed to Ildar Ilyasov, Managing Director, AMTES by Sergey Instrumentov, Manager of IAC’s Certification Service during meeting held at MAKS 2015 Air Show.

IAC Aviation Rules, Part 145 (AR-145) establish the requirements to MRO organizations and certification procedures. The document issued to AMTES GmbH allows the company to incorporate service bulletins on AN-124 aircraft. Moreover AMTES holds all necessary certificates for AN-124 maintenance in hangar facility at Leipzig/Halle Airport.

Ildar Ilyasov, Managing Director, AMTES GmbH noted, “We decided to obtain the MRO Organization Certificate to extend our capabilities in Russian-built aircraft maintenance and repair. This is the first solid step of Volga-Dnepr Group within the project of AN-124 immediate modernization. In the nearest future we are planning to extend the certificate on other types of work in accordance with AR-145. AN-124 aircraft, including those operated by Volga-Dnepr Airlines, proved itself as one of the best Russian-built cargo airplanes. I’m sure that AMTES specialists will do their best to ensure customer satisfaction with terms and quality of services. We plan to increase amount of operation in relation to both Russian and Western aircraft and extend our maintenance capabilities in European market.”

AMTES GmbH is an organization providing MRO services for Russian and Western-built aircraft. The company holds Part-145 and FAR-145 certificates. Main operation facility with 8,500 sq. m. hangar is located at Leipzig/Halle Airport, Germany. Also line maintenance station was launched at Frankfurt airport.
