FL Technics Training, a global provider of aviation technical training services, continues expanding its already extensive list of clients from the rapidly emerging Southeast Asia. The company has signed a contract with SIA Engineering (Philippines), an MRO company with over 15 000 sq. m. of modern hangars in the Philippines.

Under the reached agreement, SIAEP engineers have undergone 8 weeks of training comprised of theoretical as well as practical courses. FL Technics Training (Part-147 certified training organization) specialists conducted Boeing 737 – 600/700/800/900 category B1 and category B2 theoretical training courses for a group of ten technical maintenance professionals at the SIAEP headquarters in Clark International Airport, located in the Philippine town of Angeles. The theoretical part was followed by a 2 week-long practical course of the aforementioned training type which took place in Malaysia.

FL Technics Training signs a Boeing 737 NG training deal with SIA Engineering Philippines“Southeast Asia is one of our priority markets for technical training services. The regional aircraft fleet is constantly expanding not only size-wise but also in terms of different aircraft types. It is expected that over the upcoming 20 years the region will welcome almost 4 000 new aircraft and the demand for professional and certified MRO specialists in the Philippines (and the entire region) will, without a doubt, grow accordingly,” explains Kestutis Volungevicius, the Head of Engineering and Training at FL Technics.

“SIAEP is an all-round MRO provider with quality values and strong future-oriented vision. Maintaining the same standards ourselves, we are hardly surprised now that our business relationship took off instantly and after the courses we have received great feedback,” comments Kestutis Volungevicius. “The students who took part in the training expressed their deepest gratitude for the hard work of our professionals. Based on such successful cooperation so far, we are looking forward to working with the company on other projects in the nearest future.”
