PAL‑V has been granted European Production Organisation Approval (POA), completing the dual automotive and aviation certifications required for large‑scale manufacturing. This authorisation enables PAL‑V to produce aviation‑grade components under EASA oversight and marks a major advance toward commercialising its FlyDrive mobility solutions. By becoming the first FlyDrive manufacturer in Advanced Air Mobility to obtain this approval, PAL‑V now stands alone worldwide, outpacing emerging American and Chinese programmes in the race to certify next‑generation AAM solutions.

Robert Dingemanse, Founder and CEO of PAL-V commented: "Obtaining the POA is a major milestone for PAL-V. It confirms that we have not only developed a groundbreaking platform for FlyDrive products but have also built a world-class organisation capable of developing, certifying and manufacturing airworthy products."

European aviation authority gives green light to complete certification

PAL‑V has demonstrated full compliance with all applicable regulations across its development programme. With the award of its POA, the company has completed several critical certification milestones, including receiving EASA’s “No Technical Objection” in 2025. Together, these achievements reinforce PAL‑V’s leadership in the emerging FlyDrive market and highlight the maturity of its organisation, its technology and its products.

Professionals' mobility challenges are a growing global problem

Life‑saving missions, expert deployment and high‑value cargo transport all suffer from the same constraint: conventional mobility splits operations between air and road, creating inefficiencies and slowing response times. FlyDrive vehicles offer a singular alternative. They transport professionals at flight speed and continue the mission seamlessly on the road after landing. This dual capability makes FlyDrive an indispensable tool for organisations where speed, reach and operational performance define success.

Leadership through certification and execution

By securing its Production Organisation Approval, PAL‑V has demonstrated that its production system complies with the highest airworthiness requirements. The achievement reflects almost twenty years of disciplined engineering and certification experience, underscoring PAL‑V’s unmatched leadership in the FlyDrive sector.

A Dutch ecosystem with European significance

PAL‑V has evolved into the centre of a growing innovation ecosystem comprising Dutch and European suppliers, technology partners, academic institutions and certification specialists. The company’s deep expertise in aviation certification, engineering, manufacturing and regulatory compliance represents a strategic advantage for Europe in the rapidly expanding Advanced Air Mobility industry.

Creating a new mobility category

With its Production Organisation Approval secured and a reservation portfolio already sufficient to cover the first three years of manufacturing, PAL‑V has taken a decisive step toward establishing an entirely new mobility category — one that enables professionals to overcome operational challenges faster, more efficiently and with greater mission effectiveness.

As a result, the Netherlands once again hosts an aircraft manufacturer with global potential, and Europe gains a technology company whose capabilities and ecosystem carry clear strategic importance.
